Pretty impressive photo. Just looked it up on Wikipedia. There is a restaurant in Santa Monica, CA at the Santa Monica Airport, named Typhoon. Not sure if I knew it was named after the plane. Haven’t been there for years. I suppose it still exists.
Well Santa Monica sounds like a place to go. The aircraft is actually called a Eurofighter. Typical Brussels/EU name! I like Typhoon. I wish I could get hold of the original pic as it’s my son flying it! The clicker needs an Oscar or an Emmy or whatever.
Oh wow! Your son — impressive flying. I agree with your comment about the photographer.
The restaurant Typhoon still exists, but there is nothing on their website, other than their location and obvious interest in flying, indicating that they named it after the plane.
There have been a few Typhoons over the years. This is a quite interesting. No it’s not the boy!
